The Best Resource for Teaching Sexuality and Personal Relationships to Students with Special Needs!

When you work with students who are at the secondary level in school, you can be sure that you will deal with a whole list of things that are related to the fact that they are maturing and struggling with hormones. Sometimes it’s as simple as teaching students the value of good personal hygiene and sometimes it’s dealing with how to handle a multitude of sexuality issues.

Where can school staff and parents turn to help shed some light on what to do and how to handle these things?

This is such a sensitive topic, but just because we are uncomfortable, doesn’t mean we have the luxury of ignoring the issues! If our students are unaware of the topics covered in this book, it could affect many, many areas of their lives. It could affect friendships, social outings, job opportunities, family relationships etc.

Just be aware that there are resources and places you can turn to for help.

Take a look!

Obviously some of the things in this book need to be handled at home, while other issues can be handled both at home and in the school setting.

I recommend that you don’t ignore these issues and even consider addressing them earlier than later. We cannot assume that students will get this information from others, or if they do, the information may not be presented in the way families and schools prefer.

There are other resources out on the market, this just happens to be a really good one!

Hope this helps!

You take care and I’ll see you next time!
