TED (free) Amazing lectures/performances from a non-profit foundation. Uses videos for teaching and video modeling (Peter Norvig)
Class Dojo (free) App that will monitor student behaviors in the classroom. Students and Parents can monitor progress. Avatars can be personalized.
Khan Academy (free) App for Math, Social Studies and Science. Over 2000 short videos.
Educreations: Creates lined paper, graph paper and grids that can be written on and pages added. Great for group projects.
iMovie – Best App for editing videos. Can use music from App or iTunes.
Little Storymaker (free) Build a book with audio and pictures. Has autoplay for students that can’t turn pages.
iWordQ – Powerful talking word processor with word prediction. Will upload to Google Drive.
QR Code Reader (free) Barcode Scanner, Shopping Assistant and QR Code Reader/Maker. Students can scan directly to websites. Many classroom uses!
