Do you have a notebook full of data on each of your students? It’s kind of like having a data monster in your room. It’s big, unruly, unpleasant to think about and hard to be around.
Be honest….When is the last time you made time to analyze it and then use it to direct your instruction??? Who has time for that?
I get it.
It’s hard enough just to make sure you are taking good data let alone making time to look at it and decipher what to do next. What is the point of taking good data if you’re not going to use it?
There just has to be an easier way to put your data in one spot and then not only “see” the results of your teaching or your interventions, but then be able to present your information to both team and family members in a clear visual manner.
You are a professional and making data driven decisions is an important part of your teaching practice.
I’ve got some help for you!!!
Take a look at this video to see a demonstration of this new web-based app that is user friendly and an answer to the data monster problem.
