Are You Using These Assistive Technology Tools to Keep Students from Falling Behind?

Some of us are tech savvy and some of us are not.  I think I’m somewhere in-between but there is one thing that is certain.  If you are not using technology to make sure struggling students are getting curriculum at their instructional level, you need to ask for help.

Don’t just ignore what technology can do for those students who are not yet competent readers, yetbright and capable learners.

Take a look!

For those of you who live in or near me here in Indiana, you might want to know about an exciting conference coming up.

Purdue University is hosting the Mulit-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Leadership Academy Conference on April 1, 2020

You will learn about MTSS from several nationally recognized experts on the topic. Those speakers include:

Dr Mark Shinn (MTSS overview/RTI)

Dr Alan Coulter  ( Leadership and Implementation)

Dr. Kim Gibbons, (Leadership and Implementation)

Dr. Clay Cook ( Trauma-Informed Behavior Practices)

Dr. Jack Fletcher ( Dyslexia Identification/Instruction)

Dr. Nancy Marchand-Martella ( Explicit Instruction)

Dr. Ronald Martella ( Behavior Management)

The cost is $150/person (lunch included)

You can register at:

I will be there and so will one of my videos!  Dr. Nancy Marchand-Martella contacted me last year to see if I would be willing to participate and share what our schools do for our struggling students in the area of reading.  Well, of course, I said YES!!!

Jerry and I are in the process of putting that together now, so hopefully you’ll get a chance to see it.  If you do attend the conference, please take a moment to introduce yourself to me.  I always love the opportunity to meet some of my followers and have an actual two-way conversation!  Imagine that!

Hope to see you there!

You take care and I’ll see you next time!
