Today’s episode highlights The Reading Teacher’s Book of Lists.  A list of what to bring to a rainy college football game is not included in this book of lists, but just about everything else is!

I just got back from tailgating with my family in Bloomington and got to see the Indiana Hoosiers win their game!!  What is better than being at Nick’s cheering Hoo, Hoo, Hoo, Hoosiers as we score multiple times???

Rain sent us to Nick’s Pub, a longtime IU tradition, for the second half.  On my list for the next tailgate ….. a tent.

Getting back to this book. When I worked exclusively as an SLP, I was always looking for lists of things for my students.  I needed antonyms, idioms, words that contained the sounds my students were working on, books with no words so I could make up my own simple stories and much more.  Where was this book then???

Take a look at this video clip and you hear more about what’s in this treasure!  Stick around for the blooper at the end of the clip.  Even an SLP sometimes need help!  😐

Just remember that as you work with your children or your students, there is information out there to make your job easier.

You’ve joined me here at Behavior Communicates, so you’re already getting information to help you be the best you can be!

Keep going!  It’s worth it!

See you next week!

Carla
