I love scrolling down my Facebook page, because my friends post some of the most interesting things! Sometimes I laugh out loud, sometimes I smile and sometimes I get emotional at the posts.

Recently I saw this one and it struck a note with me…. in a great way. We’ve been focusing on Social/Emotional health in our school district. Do you know the top reason that students are bullied?

It’s not because they don’t wear the latest fashion!

It’s not because they are unattractive!

It’s not because they’re short!

It’s not because they wear glasses!

It’s not because they come from the wrong neighborhood!

What is the number one reason students are bullied?

It’s because they are alone.

Check out this week’s video on one way you can help students not be alone!!!

A big shout out to my new friends in Tulsa, OK! It was such a joy to meet you all and to be able to share information that can help you and your students be successful both at home and at school! Thank you Stephanie Krautheim and the board of the Down Syndrome Association of Tulsa for your support in making the conference possible!

The conference was such a success. It looks like I may be back for an encore conference next year!!! I’ll keep you posted!

I also want to say a special thank you to four of my subscribers who drove 3 hours from Kansas to join me at the conference!!! I was honored that you spent 6 hours on the road to be with me for the day!!! Amazing!

My good friend, Kristie Lofland, who works for the Indiana Resource Center for Autism and I often get together and share wonderful ideas/materials. ( I recently shared with her the Snap Words material and she is responsible for sharing with me the incredible Infiniteach.com site that you’ve seen in the last two weeks of videos!)

We also did a class together, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Answers to Ease the Struggle which we posted on the course training site, Udemy.

I wanted to announce that Udemy has recently required all classes to be $50 and under to better serve the public. Therefore, our course that was once $99.00 is now $50.00!   For my subscribers you may use the code: becom and get 20% off this already reduced price!

If you were thinking about how an hour+ long presentation filled with practical information, demonstration videos, and a dozen handouts could help you, your staff and your family, then now is the time to sign up!!!

Thanks for watching! You take care and I’ll see you next time.
