EASY, EASY, EASY Grant for Indiana Special Education Teachers!
If you are an educator working with students with autism and you live in Central Indiana, take a look at this! Answers for Autism is an organization dedicated to helping people who work with children on the autism spectrum. They work hard in their fundraising efforts and have offered a simple way to make your needs/wants known to them. Check out Answers for Autism on the web and note that they have a March 15, 2013 deadline for applications.
This is a very short application (2 pages) and I know of seven educators just from our cooperative who have received between $1300 and $3000 in funds to purchase their wish list. The requests have ranged from things that could go into a sensory room to 3D “put in” tasks from places like ShoeBoxTasks.com.
If you miss out on the March 15th deadline, don’t fret. Answers for Autism awards funds twice a year. You can shoot for their October 15, 2013 deadline if you are too busy right now. So you educators from Indiana, put your wish list together and APPLY!
Please let me know if you win a grant! Would love to hear from you!
