Over the years I have learned the difference between these two things because I’ve had great people around me who are bright and knowledgeable in this area and willing to share!!!!
Every now and then I discover that a staff member confuses the two and needs an explanation. I thought that if this confusion is here in my area, others might want some clarification too! So here goes!
In the video, I explain the difference! Take a look!
Next week, I will be sharing with you a fantastic informal reading assessment tool that I use and love!! Stay tuned!!!
As you take a look at your curriculum….it’s important to select materials that have been researched and have scope and sequence. In upcoming videos, I am going to share more about curriculum selection and data collection…two very important subjects when it comes to moving students ahead with their skills!
I’m looking forward to Joel Shaul this week! If you are going, I’m sure you are excited as well!
I can’t wait to meet the people from the Traverse City Michigan area on Oct 2nd!!!
I’ve got an amazing day of strategies, visuals, resources and fun planned for our day together! Every time I tell someone where I’m headed in Oct, I’m told that it’s one of the most beautiful times of year in that part of Michigan.
Here I come….I’m ready to experience…Pure Michigan 🙂
You take care and I’ll see you next time!
