It’s a bit grey outside from where I sit and it’s this time of year that students can use a boost, something novel to help motivate them to keep going. Quite frankly, I like fun and creative things too!!! If you are looking for a creative idea to practice language concepts, math facts or reading vocabulary, you need to check out this week’s video.
See what you think of Mr Shaul’s ideas or create your own. Either way it’s fun, free and an inventive solution to the winter blues. Take a look!

My mantra is often this. If I’m not having fun, neither are my students. If I’m bored, so are my students. Let’s see, how will I choose…. fun and exciting lessons or boring and dreary lessons to present. DUH!!! Guess what? We DO get to choose, so this week you’ve got an idea to have fun with. Start a paper fortune telling trend at your school!!! Enjoy!
Let me know how this works for you!!! I would love to know how your students react! Leave a comment below!
Take care and I’ll see you next time!
