Do You Have a Plan B for the Challenging Situations with Adults?

Do You Have a Plan B for the Challenging Situations with Adults?

Sometimes in special education it’s not the students who challenge us the most. Sometimes it’s the adults we encounter that have a grinding affect and it’s hard to know what to do. I’m guessing you know exactly what I’m talking about.

You may have a parent, an instructional assistant, a co-worker, a teacher, an administrator or a therapist that you sometimes find that if you could just get that person to understand where you are coming from, life would be so much easier. Right?

I have spent some time thinking about the Plan B strategy that I learned from Dr. Ross Greene and have discovered that his lessons go well beyond applying them to students with lagging skills.

If you want to see how Plan B has possibilities with adults too, take a look!

I’ve got something very special to share with you next week. Make sure you keep an eye out next Tuesday for something you’ll find in your inbox!!!!

I hope 2017 is off to an amazing start for you and your students!!!

You take care and I’ll see you next time!

Carla
