If you are willing to take a chance, a leap of faith…you might want to try a different approach to keep students on task. Try allowing your students to engage in flexible seating. Is it novelty or is it comfort? Perhaps it’s a little of both. Either way if it helps your students stay focused, does it really matter?

Take a look!

If you check out Pinterest you can find dozens of photos with examples of flexible seating. The teachers that post pictures of their classrooms obviously have a great deal of creativity. Check it out! You won’t be disappointed!

Here are the ladies from Pinterest whose classrooms I featured in the video plus others!

Hilary Lewis: Classroom Management

Shawna Cornejo: Teacher Teacher, I Declare

Erin Carlton: Teacher Classroom

Cult of Pedagogy: New Teachers

Patricia Burkholder: Physical Learning Environment

Leave a comment below and let me know how flexible seating works for you!!!

You take care and I’ll see you next time!
