There are so many language concepts that our students with disabilities need to know!!! It’s not always easy finding a resource that helps to actually visually teach those concepts in a way that students can understand.

Just when I think that probably everyone knows about a resource, I find out that that’s not true. Several times this year I asked an educator if they had seen/heard of this resource and the answer was, “no”. My thinking is if I’m finding folks who were not aware of this tool, then you might want to know about it too!

Today’s video highlights a wonderful material that can help you in the speech therapy room, classroom, clinic, or at home with our child/students who need help understanding the sometimes difficult world of language.

Take a look!

If you have a child with special needs of any age, you need to go!!!! A Transition Fair is not just for those families whose children are 14 and older. This fair is for you, now. You know how it is, you blink and they’re walking, you blink and they’re in school, you blink and they’re in high school.

If your child has a disability and is NOT on the waiver, NOW is your chance to get help to sign him/her up!!!

Check out now what you can sign up for. Check now what your options are for help and services! You will be pleasantly surprised at what is “out there” that you can take advantage of for your child and your family!!!

If you are not in Central Indiana, please call your local school district and find out when/where you can find a transition fair. Be informed!
